Arab capitals where temperatures reach the mid-40s Celsius
Arab Weather - The latest weather forecasts indicate a significant variation in maximum temperatures among Arab capitals in the coming days, with extremely hot weather continuing in large parts of the Arabian Gulf region and Iraq, while the weather remains more moderate in some countries of the Levant and North Africa.
Riyadh and Baghdad top the list of the hottest Arab capitals with maximum temperatures reaching 45 degrees Celsius, followed by Doha at 44 degrees Celsius, then Kuwait at about 42 degrees Celsius, while Muscat records 39 degrees Celsius.
In North Africa, maximum temperatures reach 38 degrees Celsius in Cairo and 37 degrees Celsius in Tripoli, while they are relatively lower in Tunis, Rabat and Algiers.
In the Levant region, temperatures remain lower compared to the Gulf countries, with Damascus expected to record 32 degrees Celsius, Amman and Jerusalem 30 degrees Celsius, while the most moderate weather will be in Beirut with a maximum temperature of around 25 degrees Celsius.
This temperature variation is attributed to the continued concentration of very hot air masses over the Arabian Peninsula and Iraq, while parts of the eastern Mediterranean and North Africa are affected by relatively more moderate weather conditions, which is reflected in the temperatures recorded between the various Arab capitals.
