How will the Red Sea depression affect Jordan on Tuesday?

Weather of Arabia - The impact of the Kingdom is expected to start from the hours of midnight tonight (Monday-Tuesday night) in what is called the Red Sea depression, as the southern regions of Jordan are affected with the hours of dawn and Tuesday morning a state of air instability

There is also an opportunity for thunderstorms to rain from the areas of the Southern Badia, Wadi Rum, Ma'an, the Al-Sharah Mountains, and parts of Aqaba Governorate, Wadi Araba and Tafila, and Al-Jafr, and there is a weaker possibility that some thunderstorms extend to Karak Governorate, especially the eastern parts of it, in addition to the southeast of the Governorate Capital.

The flow of wadis is not excluded, and torrents form after these thunderstorms. Some of these thunderstorms are accompanied by a high rate of rain abundance in narrow geographical ranges. Therefore, it is advised for residents of poetry in the wombs of the valleys to be aware of their flow.

The chance of thunderstorms is expected to weaken with hours on Tuesday evening.

Dusty waves southward may extend to the northern and central regions

On the other hand, the Red Sea depression is expected to lead to southeasterly winds to active easterly speeds with strong gifts that lead to the formation of dust waves. It is not excluded that the dust waves will extend to the northern and central regions of the Kingdom, including the capital, Amman later during the day

Therefore, it is advised for patients with respiratory system and eyes to be alert about the high dust content in the air
