New requirements for travelers to enter Dubai

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><strong>Weather of Arabia</strong> - Emirates Airlines revealed new requirements for travelers to enter Dubai.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The company clarified that as of Saturday (February 26, 2022), passengers traveling to Dubai from all countries (including the Gulf Cooperation Council) must meet <strong>one of the</strong> following requirements:</p><ol style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> A valid vaccination certificate showing that the passenger has been fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization or the Emirates, and includes the QR code system.</li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> A valid negative COVID-19 test certificate, which is issued within 48 hours from the time the sample is collected and issued by an authorized health service provider, with a QR code system.</li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> A valid medical certificate issued by the competent authorities stating that the passenger has recovered from the Coronavirus within a period of one month from the date of recovery until the date of arrival, with a QR code system.</li></ol><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> This means that travelers to Dubai as a final destination who have received two or more doses of the Corona vaccine, can travel without the need to do a PCR examination before departure, provided that they present the certificate of the vaccine in which the QR Code and the type of vaccine approved by the World Health Organization are shown.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Upon request, passengers must undergo a PCR test upon arrival in Dubai and self-quarantine in order to obtain a negative result. In the event that the traveler&#39;s examination result is positive, he must follow the instructions issued by the competent health authority in the Emirate of Dubai.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The company confirmed that printed or digital BCR test certificates or vaccination certificates are accepted in both Arabic and English, noting the need to include a QR code, while certificates are not accepted via text messages, and vaccination certificates in other languages can be accepted if they are validated in departure point.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> She indicated that the rules and conditions of entry to the final destination will be applied to transit passengers.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>The company clarified that the BCR test is not binding on the following categories:</strong></p><ol style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> All UAE nationals returning to Dubai from any country before departure, but they must take the test on arrival.</li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Non-citizens accompanying a first-degree member of the national family and domestic workers accompanying a national sponsor, prior to departure, but the test must be taken upon arrival.</li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Children under 12 years old.</li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Persons with severe or moderate disabilities.</li></ol>
