Arab Weather - Weather maps indicate the onset of humid northern air currents, raising humidity levels to over 90%. This coincides with calm winds, clear skies, and the presence of a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere. These combined weather conditions are expected to lead to the formation of dense fog. Drivers are warned of the risk of reduced, and possibly zero, horizontal visibility.

Fog may be dense, and a warning of low and no horizontal visibility in several areas.

God willing, water mist is expected to form daily during the coming nights, reaching the level of fog, especially after midnight and during the dawn and morning hours in the north of the country, causing reduced and possibly zero horizontal visibility. The fog forecast includes large areas in the north of the country, particularly agricultural and expressways and roads near bodies of water, in addition to the northern part of Lower Egypt extending towards neighborhoods of Greater Cairo. The weather is generally pleasant.

Fog begins to form during the late night and early morning hours, and continues until the morning hours before gradually dissipating due to sunrise and rising temperatures.

Weather forecasters advise in foggy weather conditions to:

1. Reduce your speed as much as possible, as speeding increases the risk of traffic accidents during foggy weather.
2. Ensure clear vision on all glass surfaces in the car, and be sure to clean all windows thoroughly before driving in foggy conditions.
3. Leave a safe and sufficient distance between you and other cars on the road to avoid a collision, God forbid.
4. Do not stop suddenly on the road while driving in foggy conditions, as sudden stops may make it more difficult for other cars to see your parked vehicle, increasing the risk of a collision.
5. Use lower or medium-intensity headlights when driving in fog, as headlights operating at full power will not improve visibility but will instead cause strong light to be reflected back at you.
