Baghdad airport suspends air traffic due to weather conditions

Weather of Arabia - Today, Monday, Baghdad International Airport announced the closure of the airspace and the suspension of air traffic at the airport for this Monday, due to the bad weather conditions that the country is going through.

A statement by Baghdad International Airport stated, "The administration of Baghdad International Airport would like to make clear to all our valued passengers and airlines operating at the airport about the closure of the airspace and the suspension of air traffic at the airport for this day, Monday, due to dust storms and the visibility of the 400m range."

The statement added, "Passengers will be informed of the nature of any emergency developments in the weather conditions in which the country is affected."
