قال متحدث باسم مركز مختص اليوم "الاثنين 30 مايو/ أيار 2016" في شتوتغارت إن هناك رجل إطفاء من بين ثلاثة ضحايا قتلوا جراء الفيضانات التي ضربت ولاية بادن-فورتمبرغ جنوب ألمانيا. وذكرت إدارة مدينة شفابيش غموند أن هذا الرجل قد لقى حتفه خلال محاولة لإنقاذ أحد الأشخاص بالمدينة، لافتة إلى أن الشخص الذي كان يحاول فرد الإطفاء إنقاذه توفي هو أيضا.
وتابع المتحدث أن رجلا مسنا يبلغ من العمر ستين عاما لقي حتفه أيضا في موقف سيارات تحت الأرض غمرته المياه ببلدة فايسباخ بالولاية. وأضاف أن هناك الكثير من الإصابات أيضا إثر الفيضانات. وكانت السلطات الألمانية ذكرت في وقت سابق أن هناك مخاوف من مقتل ثلاثة أشخاص على الأقل من بينهم رجل إطفاء ليلة الأحد/ الاثنين جراء فيضانات ناتجة عن سوء أحوال الطقس وأمطار غزيرة جنوب غربي ألمانيا.
