This is attributed to the nature of the weather systems prevailing in Europe and the eastern Mediterranean, which prevented the expansion of extremely hot air masses from the Arabian Peninsula and pushed moderate air masses towards the region.

Forecasts indicate that the absence of heat waves will continue for at least a week.

Recent weather updates indicate that the same weather pattern will continue over the coming period, with heat waves remaining off the Kingdom's skies until at least the beginning of next week. However, some periods during the rest of the month may witness an expansion of the tropical high pressure system, leading to a temporary rise in temperatures, with no clear indications yet that they will rise to the level of heat waves.

The weather remains normal summer to relatively hot in most areas.

Therefore, the weather is expected to remain normal to relatively hot in the coming days, and hot in the lowlands and desert areas, especially in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
