Arab Weather - After a period of relatively moderate weather, hot weather is returning strongly to large areas of the Arabian Gulf, as the latest weather model updates indicate that the region will be exposed to a strong heat wave expected to begin at the end of the week and reach its peak at the beginning of next week.

Temperatures are expected to exceed 50 degrees Celsius in some areas, particularly in Iraq, Kuwait, and eastern Saudi Arabia, amid what are described as scorching weather.

These regions are likely to experience extremely hot weather, due to the deepening of the surface low pressure system over the eastern Arabian Peninsula, coinciding with the strengthening of the upper air pressure system. This convergence will lead to an intensification of the heat wave and its expansion across the geographic area. This means that the weather will become scorching across all of Iraq, Kuwait, and eastern Saudi Arabia, with temperatures reaching the 40s in most areas, while some cities may reach 50 degrees Celsius or more.

Weather experts at Arab Weather expect the Arabian Gulf countries to once again top the list of the world's hottest temperatures. This comes after some Algerian cities experienced scorching weather last week, topping the list.

Amid these harsh weather conditions, Arab Weather warns against direct exposure to the sun during daylight hours, especially at noon. It also recommends drinking plenty of water and cold liquids throughout the day, even at night, to avoid the complications of heat stress.
