4.9-magnitude earthquake hits northern Pakistan

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">ArabiaWeather.com- The northern parts of Pakistan were hit by an earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale yesterday, without causing any human or material losses.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The epicenter of the tremor, which was felt by the population, included the regions of Chitral, Swat Valley, Ashingla, Malakand and the tribal region bordering Afghanistan, at a depth of 300 km in the Hindu Kush mountain range between Pakistan and Afghanistan, according to the country&#39;s Meteorological and Geological Survey Department.</p>
