موقع ArabiaWeather.com- ارتفعت حصيلة ضحايا الزلزال المدمر الذي ضرب الإكوادور فجر السبت إلى 272 قتيلا، وذلك بحسب آخر تصريحٍ صادرٍ عن الحكومة.

 

وكان رئيس الإكوادور قد ظهر يوم أمس عبر أجهزة التلفزة المحلية، في أعقاب زلزال شديد بلغت قوته 7.8 درجات على مقياس ريختر، ليُعلن حالة الطوارئ في خمسة أقاليم ساحلية متضررة في الإكوادور.

 

وأعلنت الحكومة نشر 10 الآف جندي و3500 ضابط شرطة في المناطق المتضررة، بينما يتوجه عمال إنقاذ من دول أخرى منها المكسيك وكولومبيا إلى الإكوادور للمساعدة في عمليات الإنقاذ.

 

وسجلت مراكز رصد الزلازل العالمية 50 هزة ارتدادية بلغت شدة بعضها خمس درجات، في الساعات الأولى من التي تبعت الزلزال الأم.
