موقع ArabiaWeather.com-تشهد مرتفعات الطائف وأجزاء أخرى من مرتفعات جنوب غرب المملكة هطولاً شبه يومي للأمطار الرعدية الغزيرة والتي تتركز في ساعات العصر.

 

يحدث ذلك بعد مشيئة الله، كنتيجة لتوغل تيارات غربية رطبة قادمة من البحر الأحمر،حيثُ تصطدم التيارات بسفوح الجبال العالية وتصعد لأعلى ما يعمل على تشكُل السُحُب الركامية الرعدية.

 

المشهد أعلاه يُظهر غزارة الأمطار التي قد تنتج عن هذه السُحُب،حيثُ يظهر تساقُط الأمطار والبرد بشكل كثيف في أحد أحياء الطائف أو ضواحيها الشرقية.
