Saudi Arabia calls for the sighting of the crescent moon of Ramadan on Tuesday evening.

The Supreme Court called on all Muslims throughout the Kingdom to look for the crescent moon of Ramadan on the evening of Tuesday, 29/8/1447 AH - according to the Umm al-Qura calendar - corresponding to 17/2/2026, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The agency urged anyone who sees the crescent moon of Ramadan with the naked eye, or with binoculars, to inform the nearest court and register their testimony with it, or to contact the nearest center to help them reach the nearest court.

The Supreme Court also hoped that those who have the ability to sight the crescent moon would pay attention to this matter and join the committees formed in the regions for this purpose, according to the agency.
