موقع ArabiaWeather.com – عمر الدجاني- نظراً لتأثُر أجزاء من السعودية بأحوال جوية غير مُستقرة، تعرضت مدينة حفر الباطن مع الساعة الخامسة مساءً إلى عاصفة رملية جدارية تسببت في انعدام مدى الرؤية الأفقية و تحول النهار إلى ليل.

 

مطار مدينة الملك خالد العسكرية في حفر الباطن أشار إلى تدني مدى الرؤية الأفقية بشكل حاد و كبير، مع انخفاض حاد في درجات الحرارة بمقدار 11 درجة مئوية خلال أقل من ساعة واحدة.

 

و ترافقت العاصفة الرملية مع سقوط بعض الأمطار ، و ذلك بسبب السُحُب الرعدية.

 

يُذكر بأن مثل هذه العواصف تظهر بالتزامن مع مرور العواصف الرعدية فوق مُسطح صحراوي رملي مما يؤدي إلى إثارة الغبار على شكل جدار.
