موقع ArabiaWeather.com- ارتفع عدد قتلى السيول والفيضانات في العاصمة المقدونية سكوبيا إلى 21 شخصا على الأقل في سيول مفاجئة نتجت عن تأثير عاصفة، الأمر الذي دفع السلطات لإعلان حالة الطوارئ.

 

وأغرقت الأمطار الغزيرة المنازل، كما أطاحت بجزء من الطريق الدائري حول سكوبيا وحطمت سيارات في ساعة متأخرة مساء السبت. فيما أشار المتحدث باسم الشرطة أن أطفالا كانوا من ضمن الوفيات مع استمرار عمليات البحث عن 6 أشخاص مفقودين.

 

وكانت أكثر المناطق تأثرا في العاصمة الضواحي الشمالية رغم أن وسط المدينة تأثرًا أيضا جراء السيول.

 

وأعلنت مقدونيا أمس الإثنين يوم حداد وطني، حيث أكد نائب رئيس الوزراء نيكولا تودوروف أن حجم هذه الكارثة لم يسبق له مثيل في البلاد.
