تعرض الساحل الشرقي للإمارات إلى هبات رياح قوية حيث حذر موقع طقس العرب الإلكتروني من هبوب رياح غربية إلى شمالية غربية على الإمارات و شمال عمان و البحرين و قطر يومي السبت و الأحد  10 و 11 مارس. و كانت الرياح أشدها على الساحل الشرقي لدولة الإمارات، حيث سجل مطار الفجيرة رياح وصلت هباتها إلى 87 كم في الساعة يوم السبت 10 مارس و 72 كم في الساعة يوم الأحد 11 مارس، و تسببت الرياح في اقتلاع الأشجار و تلف الألواح التجارية.

و تهدأ الرياح يوم الأثنين على الإمارات لكنها تنشط و تصبح قوية على الكويت و شمال شرق السعودية و تصل هبات بعض الرياح إلى 70 كم في الساعة مع أجواء مغبرة و انخفاض للرؤية الأفقية.
