وتكون الرياح شمالية غربية، خفيفة إلى مُعتدلة السرعة. تنشط مع ساعات العصر في الجبال والبادية لفترة محدودة وتعمل على إثارة الغبار والأتربة فيها.

 

وتبلغ العظمى في أنحاء عمان مع ساعات العصر بين 31-35 مئوية، في حين تكون الصغرى في بداية العشرينيات مئوية.

 

يُذكر ان المملكة على موعد مع كتلة هوائية حارة يزداد تأثيرها على مناطق البادية وتنتشر تدريجياً إلى كافة المناطق الجمعة، على أن تنحسر بشكل طفيف يومي السبت والأحد خاصة عن المناطق الجبلية.
