وكانت المنطقة قد تعرضت لإضطرابات جوية حادة في عُطلة نهاية الأسبوع مع وصول بقايا الإعصار "غونزالو" الذي انخفضت قوته بشكلٍ كبير وتحول لمُنخفضٍ جوي رطب مُحمل بكمية كبيرة من الأمطار.

 

وألحقت العواصف المطرية أضراراً مادية جسيمة بالسيارات والمُمتلكات العامة، دون أن ترد أي أنباء عن سقوط ضحايا أو إصابات.
