ووقعت الهزة على عمق 5 كم داخل المياه الإقليمية الليبية، وفقاً لجمعيات ليبية مختصة، فيما لم ترد حتى الآن أنباء عن وقوع إصابات أو أضرار في المناطق التي وصلتها الهزة.
