ArabiaWeather.com - خلف الإعصار "فانج وونج" خمسة قتلى على الأقل في الفلبين وأجبر نحو 200 ألف شخص على النزوح لملاجيء مؤقتة بما في ذلك في العاصمة مانيلا، للهروب من السيول الجارفة، ليتوجه الإعصار بعد توجه بعد ذلك إلى تايوان.

 

وبقيت معظم المدارس في جزيرة لوزون الرئيسية مغلقة لمدة يومين مع بدء عملية تنظيف شاملة، فيما عاودت بعض المكاتب الحكومية فتح أبوابها.

 

وضرب الإعصار فانج وونج الذي بلغت سرعة رياحه 95 كيلومتراً في الساعة الطرف الشمالي من الفلبين يوم الجمعة، ما أدى لانقطاع الكهرباء في العديد من المناطق وإغراق مزارع الأرز والذرة وإصابة العاصمة بحالة من الشلل. 

 

وقال مكتب الأرصاد الرسمي بأن العاصفة التي تتحرك شمالاً بسرعة 15 كيلومترا في الساعة ستضرب تايوان بحلول يوم الإثنين.
