According to the Omani Meteorology Department, several regions and wilayats witnessed high temperatures in the last 24 hours, exceeding 45 degrees Celsius in many areas. The highest temperature was in the wilayat of Maqshan, reaching 47.4 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature ever recorded in the Sultanate.
