Arab Weather - Weather analyses issued by the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom will continue to be affected by a relatively hot to hot air mass over the coming days and until the middle of the week. This will bring hot summer weather across various regions, with the heat becoming more intense during daylight hours, particularly in low-lying areas. Daily temperature variations will vary depending on geographic location and terrain.
Temperatures are expected to rise slightly compared to recent days, reaching 3-5 degrees Celsius above average for this time of year. The capital, Amman, and various Jordanian cities are expected to record high temperatures in the mid-thirties Celsius.
The weather will be particularly hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, where maximum temperatures can reach 44-47 degrees Celsius during the afternoon and evening hours. This calls for caution against prolonged direct exposure to the sun during peak hours.
Winds will be northwesterly to westerly during the day, generally moderate in speed, becoming active at times in the afternoon and evening, especially in the desert and eastern plains. They may cause local dust storms, which will temporarily reduce horizontal visibility, especially on exposed desert roads.
During the night hours, the weather will be moderate, especially in the mountains and highlands, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with minimum temperatures not falling below 30 degrees Celsius in those areas.
And God knows best.
