Arab Weather - According to the latest data via computer simulation within the Arab Weather application, it is expected that during the evening and night hours of Saturday/Sunday, the cold air will deepen in the upper layers of the atmosphere and meet with an extension of the Red Sea depression, so that the amounts of clouds will increase, and showers of rain will fall on the southern regions, including the Gulf and city of Aqaba, Wadi Rum, the Disi Basin and the surrounding areas, the Shara Mountains, Wadi Musa, the southern Jordan Valley, Wadi Araba and the roads leading to it, and the southern desert regions, including the city of Ma’an and Al-Jafr, reaching the Al-Mudawwarah border area and the road leading to it.
These showers are heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms, hail in some areas, and downdrafts, causing significant flow in valleys and streams and the formation of flash floods, including in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea region. These thunderstorms are also accompanied by strong gusts of wind, causing temporary dust storms in some desert areas.
As for the rest of the Kingdom, the effects of these unstable weather conditions extend and showers of rain fall in random areas, and it is not unlikely that some of these showers will be heavy in some narrow geographical areas and accompanied by thunder at that time.
(It should be noted here that the probability of rainfall does not mean rainfall in all areas of the governorates, but rather includes one area over another due to the randomness of rainfall in cases of atmospheric instability):
And God knows best.
