Jordan: Warning of dense dust storms on Thursday in many desert areas

Arab Weather - Weather maps in Arab Weather indicate active westerly winds with strong gusts reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h, especially in the southern highlands, desert and eastern regions.

Dense dust storms are expected in the southeast and east of the Kingdom, as well as the eastern plains, particularly in areas that have not received rainfall. These dust storms will affect major desert roads, including the Baghdad International Highway and sections of the Desert Highway connecting Amman to the southern governorates, causing a significant reduction in horizontal visibility, especially during the afternoon.

The wind intensity will decrease on Thursday night/Friday morning, but it will remain brisk, especially in the southern regions.
