Arab Weather - The weather forecast team at the Arab Weather Center issued a report stating that a hot air mass is approaching the Kingdom in the coming days (find out which areas will be most affected ). However, thankfully, it is not expected to penetrate far enough to trigger a heat wave.
Scientifically speaking, meteorologists at the Arab Weather Center said that the distribution of atmospheric pressure in the region is represented by the dominance of a high surface pressure area over the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, while the opposite prevails in the Arabian Peninsula (the area of the presence of the seasonal thermal depression). Consequently, winds move from areas of high atmospheric pressure to areas of low atmospheric pressure, just as in mountains and valleys.

This begs the question: What does Jordan have to do with this? The answer is that this distribution of atmospheric pressure (which is always prevalent during the summer) leads to northwesterly sea winds blowing. The northwesterly winds act as a barrier to the advancing hot air mass, preventing it from penetrating the Kingdom's atmosphere sufficiently to allow temperatures to soar to the level of a heat wave, God forbid.
And God knows best.
