Jordan is investigating the crescent of the month of Ramadan this evening

Weather of Arabia - Jordan is investigating the crescent of the month of Ramadan for this year, after sunset today, Wednesday (22 March 2023), and the Secretary General of the Jordanian Ifta Department, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasanat, indicated that the Ifta Directorates receive witnesses who saw the crescent with the naked eye on the day of the investigation.

Astronomical calculations indicate that seeing the crescent of the month of Ramadan will be possible with the naked eye after sunset on Wednesday, and therefore it is expected that Jordan will announce, and on Thursday (March 23) the first day of Ramadan.
