Saudi Arabia's Meteorology Department warns of heat waves, thunderstorms, and dust in five regions today, Thursday.

The National Center for Meteorology issued a series of weather warnings, including parts of the Madinah, Jazan, Asir, and Eastern regions, due to their being affected by active to sometimes strong winds that stir up dust, sand, and dirt, in addition to chances of rain in some areas and heat waves.

These warnings will continue until 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 4, 2026, with varying levels of warning between orange and yellow depending on the severity of the weather conditions in each region.

Areas covered by warnings and dust forecasts for Thursday, June 4, 2026:

Medina region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• Orange alert includes: None
• Yellow alert "heat wave" includes: Al-Ais.
• Yellow alert "blow-up dust" includes: Al-Hanakiya, Al-Mahd.

Tabuk region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• Orange alert "blown dust" includes: Al Wajh, Amla
• Yellow alert "heat wave" includes: None.

Eastern Region:

• The red alert includes : None.
• The orange alert includes: None.
• The yellow alert "extreme heat" includes: Al-Ahsa, Al-Adeed, Abqaiq.
• The yellow alert "dust stirred up" includes: many, dh'abluten.

Asir region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• Orange alert for "moderate rain" includes: Abha, Ahad Rafidah, Khamis Mushait, Al-Harjah, Al-Rabou'ah, Al-Farsha, Sarat Abidah, Dhahran Al-Janoub, Rijal Alma', Muhayil
• The yellow alert for "light rain" includes: Al Namas, Balqarn, Tanomah, Al Majardah, Bariq.

Jazan region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• Orange alert for "moderate rain" includes: Al-Harth, Al-Dayer, Al-Raith, Al-Ardah, Al-Aydabi, Fifa, Haroub
• Yellow alert "Light rain" includes: None

The most prominent expected weather phenomena:

• occasionally strong winds
• Excited upbringing
• Reduced or near-zero horizontal visibility
• Light to moderate rain
• heat wave
