Weather experts at the National Center for Meteorology in Saudi Arabia predicted that large parts of the country would be affected by a strong state of atmospheric instability, starting from Tuesday, April 7, 2026 and continuing until the end of Friday, April 10, amid expectations of thundery rain of varying intensity that may be heavy at times, accompanied by hail and a noticeable increase in surface wind activity.
According to weather updates, this situation is expected to bring renewed rainfall to 12 administrative regions, with chances of active thunderstorms forming intermittently, increasing the likelihood of heavy rainfall in some areas over a short period of time.

Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, Najran, Riyadh, Al-Qassim, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Northern Borders, and the Eastern Province.
