The Meteorological Authority warns of a severe heat wave hitting the Eastern Province, with temperatures reaching 48 degrees Celsius.

The National Center for Meteorology warned that the Eastern Province will be affected today by a heat wave, during which temperatures will range between 47 and 48 degrees Celsius, including the governorates of Al-Ahsa, Buqayq and Al-Adeed.

The center explained that the effect of this wave will continue – God willing – until 5 pm, with the need to take precautions, especially during midday hours, and to avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
