Air Algérie has announced the cancellation of all flights to and from the Jordanian capital, Amman, until further notice due to security concerns.

The company said in a statement on Wednesday: "Air Algérie informs its valued customers that, due to security reasons, it has decided to cancel all flights to and from the Jordanian capital, Amman, until further notice."

Air Algérie expressed its regret for this "circumstance beyond its control."

Air Algérie affirmed its commitment to "keeping its customers informed of all relevant developments as soon as possible." The company also urged customers to contact its call center.
