The latest outputs of numerical simulation systems for atmospheric motion show strong indications, thanks be to God, that the Kingdom is heading towards a strong and widespread state of atmospheric instability starting from the beginning of next week, during which thunderclouds will form and moderate to heavy rain will fall, which may be accompanied by heavy showers of hail in many areas.
According to weather map analyses at the Arab Weather Center, the first actual effects of the weather fluctuations will gradually begin to appear in the Tabuk region starting from Saturday afternoon, with the cumulonimbus clouds multiplying with chances of scattered rain. During Sunday, the weather activity will intensify significantly with the extension of thunderclouds to Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders and Madinah, before later extending on Monday and Tuesday towards parts of Hail, Al-Qassim and the Makkah region.
These rains are expected to be of varying intensity and will be accompanied by lightning, thunder, and thunderstorms, in addition to hail showers which may be heavy and accumulate in some areas.
These forecasts come as a result of the possibility of a relatively cold air mass moving in from the north and northwest, coinciding with warm and humid air currents blowing from the south, and an effective response to the Red Sea depression and the rush of moisture-saturated currents in the different atmospheric layers. This means the availability of many weather conditions for the formation of thunderclouds covering wide areas of the Kingdom, God willing.
Arab Weather notes that it is not possible to make a final judgment on the details of the expected weather situation and the margin of error is wide at this time due to the long period, and Arab Weather will issue reports and forecasts according to the latest developments.
