In the details, it is expected that all southern parts of the Kingdom will be affected from Friday evening by severe weather fluctuations that are expected to continue with varying severity over the next week, and thunderstorms are expected to include the Empty Quarter desert, Najran and the southern parts of the Riyadh region.

The severity of the case focuses on Najran, Jazan and parts of Asir

Despite the wide geographical area of the rainy situation and its comprehensiveness to large areas, the strength of thunder clouds and rainfall will focus on the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom, and by this we mean the highlands of Najran , Jazan and Asir in particular, and expectations indicate that these areas will be subject to heavy rainfall. On an almost daily basis during the next week, accompanied by intense cold showers sometimes, with a high chance of the formation of torrential rains, especially in the low areas and mountain slopes, and the emergence of convective clouds and rainfall in parts of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Taif, but less severely.
