Saudi Arabia | Video shows a tornado causing damage in Umluj moments ago

Arab Weather - The governorate of Umluj witnessed remarkable weather fluctuations, including dust-raising winds and thunderstorms, as part of the weather conditions that affected parts of the region.

The official spokesperson for the National Center for Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, explained via the “X” platform that these phenomena are caused by downdrafts associated with cumulonimbus thunderclouds, which were accompanied by strong gusts of wind that contributed to the formation of a funnel cloud northeast of the governorate.

The center confirmed that monitoring and tracking of the weather situation is ongoing, calling on everyone to adhere to official warnings and take maximum precautions.
