Iraq | Unstable weather conditions affect the country starting Thursday

Arab Weather - The latest weather models at the Arab Weather Center indicated that there are indications that Iraq will be affected by a state of atmospheric instability starting from Thursday. Clouds are expected to appear at different altitudes, interspersed with cumulus clouds that will lead to random thunderstorms and in narrow geographical areas, with the possibility of being heavy at times.

Monitoring the intensification of the weather instability at the end of the week

Indicators indicate that the impact of the instability will increase over the weekend, as clouds increase in the atmosphere and thunderstorms fall on scattered areas, especially in the northern and central regions, including the capital, Baghdad. This will cause heavy rain showers in some areas, leading to the formation of floods and rising water levels on the roads.

The state of instability is due to the meeting of a cold air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere with a hot mass in the lower layers, coinciding with the rush of moisture in the middle and upper layers of the atmosphere, which creates the conditions for the occurrence of atmospheric disturbances.
