Heat waves avoid the Kingdom's atmosphere

The latest updates from numerical models indicate that the usual summer weather will continue to prevail over the Kingdom in the coming days, with a general stability in weather systems and the absence of any indications that the region will be affected by heat waves in the near future.

Although some outputs from numerical models over the past few days showed indications of a clear rise in temperatures, they did not amount to a heat wave, and these indicators have declined slightly in recent updates, so that the weather has settled back into its usual summer pattern.

Typical summer weather prevails during the daytime in various regions, while the weather is pleasant at night and tends to be relatively cool during the late night and early morning hours, especially over the mountainous highlands.

Temperatures will remain around their usual averages for this time of year, with slight and insignificant differences from day to day, with no significant changes in the nature of the prevailing air mass.

In contrast, hot weather continues during the afternoon hours in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba and desert regions, which is a normal pattern during the summer season.

The thermal dome is centered over central and eastern Arabia and remains far from the Kingdom's atmosphere.
