موقع"طقس العرب"الإلكتروني-تسببت موجة أمطار موسمية طوفانية و فيضانات عارمة في ولاية أسام شرق الهند في مقتل 81 شخصاً جرفتهم المياه ، و في تهجير نحو مليوني شخص من منازلهم انتقلوا مع اقاربهم ليعيشوا في العراء، بعدما غطّت مياه الأمطار مساحات واسعة جداً من الولاية، في أسوأ موجة فيضانات تشهدها المنطقة منذ عشرة سنوات.

 

 

المسؤولون في المنطقة ذكروا بأن مُعظم الاشخاص الذين قُتلوا كانوا قد جُرفوا و غرقوا بسبب مياه نهر (براهمابوترا) القوية التي غمرت القرى و المساحات الزراعية،في حين أن 16 شخصاً دُفنوا مع الانهيارات الأرضية الناجمة عن الهطول العنيف و المتواصل للأمطار.

 

 

و قد هلكت الاف رؤوس الماشية بعد ان غرقت مياه الوحول وسط انتشار لرائحة الجُثث و الحيوانات المتعفنة مما يُهدد بانتشار الأمراض في المنطقة.
