Arab Weather - The Kingdom was affected on Saturday and Sunday by a hot air mass coming across Africa. Temperatures rose significantly across the Kingdom, with the capital Amman recording its highest temperature since last summer on Saturday afternoon, reaching 39°C at Amman Civil Airport.
Tonight, temperatures will drop compared to yesterday, and the weather will be pleasant across the Kingdom, with warmer conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate in speed.
Arab Weather forecasts indicate that the hot air mass will withdraw tomorrow, Monday, as a cooler air mass begins to advance toward the Kingdom. Consequently, temperatures will drop further tomorrow, while remaining about two degrees Celsius above average. The weather will become spring-like and warm in the mountains and relatively hot in the rest of the region.
The winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, and will pick up in the afternoon.
Temperatures will continue to drop on Monday night, and the weather will be relatively cold in general, with low clouds appearing, especially in the north of the Kingdom. Winds will be light to moderate northwesterly.
Forecasts for the rest of the week indicate that warm spring weather will continue across various regions on Tuesday and Wednesday, with rising indicators indicating a return to higher temperatures and hotter conditions next Thursday.
