Arab Weather App - The latest outputs of computer simulation models developed in Arab Weather indicate that the Kingdom will be affected by a highly effective fourth-degree low-pressure system (which has been named the Good Depression) starting from the hours of this night, and will continue through tomorrow, Tuesday, accompanied by heavy rainfall on a wide scale.

According to computer models at Arab Weather, the highest rainfall amounts are expected in the northern and central regions of the Kingdom, including the governorates of Irbid, Ajloun, and Jerash, in addition to the Balqa Governorate, the capital Amman, and Madaba. Estimates indicate that rainfall amounts in these areas, including Amman, could range between 70 and 100 mm.

The heavy rainfall is likely to cause strong flash floods and a significant rise in water levels, which necessitates taking the utmost precautions. The low-pressure system is expected to begin affecting the area during the late hours of the night, just before midnight, with the weather activity expected to intensify at dawn and on Tuesday morning, God willing.

Forecasts indicate that the highest rainfall amounts will be in Ajloun, the capital Amman, the Balqa Governorate and Madaba, followed by the governorates of Irbid, Jerash and Zarqa, then the southern regions such as Karak and Tafila, and finally Mafraq and western Maan.

And God knows best.
