ArabiaWeather.com - حصل الأمريكي جيم هاريسون عاشق الزواحف على لقب "صاحب أخطر مهنة في العالم" والذي يعرض حياته للخطر لاستخراج السم من أخطر الثعابين في العالم، بحسب صحيفة  "ديلي ميل" البريطانية.

 

ويمتلك هاريسون  حوالي 2000 ثعبان سام يلتقط منها 100 ثعبان يومياً لكي يستخرج منها السموم بيديه العاريتين اللتان تتعرضان باستمرار للدغات، ليصاب بعدة إصابات وصلت إلى درجة فقدانه أجزاء من أصابعه، للحصول على السموم التي يضعها في كوب زجاج ليبيعها للاستفادة منها في علاج الكثير من الأمراض.

 

وذكرت الصحيفة أن ولع «هاريسون» في الثعابين بدأ منذ كان عمره 6 أعوام، أما اقتنائه إياها واستخراجه لسمها فبدأ في سن 17 عاما، وتطور الأمر لينتهي بإنشائه حديقة للزواحف أطلق عليها  اسم «حديقة كنتاكي للزواحف" والتي يديرها بصحبة زوجته كريستين.
