Air update | Arabia Weather identifies the weather phenomena expected to affect the Kingdom on Saturday and the areas affected by them

Arabia Weather - Sinan Khalaf - The weather forecast team at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicated that various parts of the Kingdom were affected on Saturday by renewed activity of cumulonimbus clouds and rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms.

It is expected, God willing, from the afternoon hours that cumulus thunderclouds will begin to grow and develop over parts of the highlands of eastern Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, all the way to Taif and the highlands of the eastern Mecca region, and perhaps limited parts of the Medina region, accompanied by rain showers accompanied by lightning and thunder. It is not unlikely that it will be heavy at times and accompanied by hail showers.

It is also possible that some cumulonimbus clouds will develop over parts of Al-Qassim, Hail, and Hafar Al-Batin, accompanied by descending winds and perhaps dust waves that may be followed by showers of rain of varying intensity.

Active winds blow dust north

Active northwesterly winds are also expected to blow throughout the northern regions, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the northern borders, and extending to Hail and the northern Medina region, accompanied by dust and dust and varying horizontal visibility, especially on external roads.
