ويعود ذلك إلى الرياح الهابطة الناتجة عن سحابة رعدية تشكلت جنوباً وتقدمت نحو المناطق القريبة من الخليج العربي.

 

ويترافق عبور السحب الركامية عادةً مع هبوب لرياح نشطة، تعمل لدى عيورها فوق المناطق الصحراوية على إثارة الغبار والأتربة وتدني مدى الرؤية الأفقية.
