It is expected, God willing, that the cold front will begin to gradually cross the Syrian coasts, starting from its northern part and moving towards the rest of the regions in the coming hours. The cold front will bring heavy rainfall and significant activity in the speed of the southwesterly winds, which will cause disturbance in the sea waves and their rise on the shores.

The same air front is expected to extend towards Lebanese territory, causing southwesterly winds and rainfall in many areas. It is possible that the rain will be heavy during the middle of the night, God willing, and snow will fall on the high mountain peaks, especially those that are more than 1900 meters high.

What about the effects of the low-pressure system on Jordan and Palestine?

Southern Levant regions, including Jordan and Palestine, are expected to remain far from the direct effects of this low-pressure system. However, the region will be affected by the extension of the cold air mass, with colder than usual conditions prevailing on Monday, and temperatures dropping below their general averages.

Clouds will also appear at different altitudes, with a chance of rain from time to time in parts of northern and central Palestine, which may extend to northern Jordan and possibly limited parts of the central regions. Winds will be active on the Palestinian coasts, leading to a noticeable increase in wave height and sea disturbance.
