وتتشكل السحب الركامية الرعدية في المرتفعات الجنوبية الغربية من البلاد وخاصة مرتفعات جازان وابها والباحة وعسير وتتساقط زخات الامطار الرعدية ربما تكون غزيرة في نطاقات محدودة وضيقة.

 

وتكون الرياح متقلبة الاتجاهات الى شمالية معتدلة السرعة احيانا تنشط على فترات تثير الاتربة والغبار في المناطق المكشوفة.
