The latest readings from the weather monitoring stations affiliated with the Arab Weather Center, according to the readings recorded at 11:30 pm on Tuesday night, 2-24-2024, indicate that temperatures reached below zero degrees Celsius in several areas of the Kingdom, especially in the peaks west of the capital, Amman, and Ajloun, in addition to the southern highlands.

The weather station west of the capital Amman recorded low temperatures reaching -1.2 degrees below zero. The same value is close to the same value in both Ajloun and Petra stations, while Tafilah station recorded about -2 degrees below zero.

As for the rest of the weather monitoring stations, they are approaching zero degrees Celsius, including large neighborhoods of the capital, Amman, with expectations of a gradual decrease below this level in the coming hours.

Ice has also begun to form on vehicles, water bodies and grassy areas, but many roads are dry, reducing the chances of ice forming in many areas.
