Arab Weather - The Kingdom witnessed a significant rise in temperatures today and yesterday as a result of a hot air mass that pushed toward the region, causing temperatures to exceed their usual levels for this time of year. However, the striking weather paradox is that the same air mass that contributed to the hot weather in the Kingdom will be the direct cause of the gradual return of moderate weather starting Tuesday.

The same air mass causing the hot weather will be the reason for the return of moderate weather. How so?

According to the Arab Weather Center, the event resulted from the distribution of weather systems and air masses around the Kingdom, specifically in the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea and North Africa. A cooler air mass, a moderate, denser mass of hot air, pushed toward northwest Egypt, pushing the hot air mass ahead of it eastward toward Jordan, in accordance with well-known physical laws related to air density and distribution.

As the moderate air mass continues to advance, temperatures are expected to begin gradually dropping starting Tuesday, with the weather returning to its normal moderate state during the second half of the week, especially in the mountainous regions and eastern plains.
