Weather experts at Arab Weather confirmed that the meteorological arrival of summer does not mean the cessation of rain in the Arab world, but rather the opposite, as it is considered the beginning of seasonal rain activity in a number of countries, such as Sudan, Yemen, parts of the mountains of the Sultanate of Oman and the Emirates, in addition to areas of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and others.
Forecasts indicate that rainfall during the first week of summer will affect a number of these areas, with varying intensity and distribution from one region to another.
The forecast indicates that the southwestern highlands of the Arabian Peninsula will be affected by unstable weather conditions, with a daily possibility of cumulonimbus cloud formation. This could lead to thunderstorms of varying intensity over the southwestern regions of the peninsula and Yemen, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and occasional surface wind activity. There is also a possibility of some localized cumulonimbus cloud formation over the mountains of the UAE and Oman.

Seasonal rainfall is also expected to continue over the highlands of western Yemen and parts of southern Sudan, with chances of scattered thunderstorms, accompanied by significant lightning and thunder activity.

In the same context, generally stable summer weather is expected to prevail in North African countries, with the chances of atmospheric instability remaining concentrated in the central parts of Algeria, where clouds increase daily and create the opportunity for thunderstorms and rain showers. The chances also include parts of central Tunisia on Monday.
