موقع ArabiaWeather.com- سنان خلف- سجلت مراكز رصد الزلازل العالمية زلزالاً بقوة 6.8 درجة على مقياس ريختر، ضرب الإكوادور في وقت مبكر اليوم الأربعاء.

 

من جهته أعلن المعهد الإكواردوري الوطني لرصد الزلازل أن الزلزال بلغت قوته 6.8 درجة وضرب البلاد عند الساعة 7:57 بتوقيت غرينتش في منطقة مانابي غربا على عمق عشرة كيلومترات.

 

ونفى مركز التحذير من أمواج المد العاتية "تسونامي" في المحيط الهادي أي احتمالية بأن يتسبب الزلزال بموجات مدٍ بحري مدمرة، وذلك نظراً لموقع مركز الزلزال.

 

ويأتي هذا الزلزال بعد قرابة شهر من الزلزال المدمر الذي ضرب البلاد بقوة 7.8 درجة، وتسبب بمقتل مقتل أكثر من 650 شخصا وإصابة نحو 16 ألفا آخرين.
