ويقول المصور أنه قام بالتقاط مجموعة من الصور على مراحل خلال نصف ساعة عندما سمع صوت أزيز صادر من اليرقة وبعد لحظات بدأ الغلاف الخارجي لليرقة بالتشقق التدريجي لتخرج بعد ذلك اليرقة لتفرد أجنحتها وتبدأ بالرفرة حتى تتمكن أخيراً من الطيران
