Arab Weather - The media and scientific community mourned today, Friday, the passing of veteran meteorologist Hassan Karani, who died at the age of 77 in Jeddah, bringing to a close a remarkable career spanning more than four decades as the most famous weather presenter in the history of Saudi television.

The deceased passed away at King Abdullah Medical Complex, where he had been receiving the necessary medical care during the past period, following a health condition that confined him to the hospital bed until his last moments.

Arab Weather extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased and his relatives, asking God Almighty to have mercy on him, to grant him a place in Paradise, and to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace.
