موقع ArabiaWeather.com- ليست قرية "فيا لاس استرياس" وسط القطب الجنوبي، حيث الحرارة المنخفضة إلى ما دون الأربعين درجة تحت الصفر في الشتاء، كغيرها من القرى

تضم "فيا لاس استرياس" المجاورة لقرية قاعدة "ادواردو فريي" التشيلية في شبه جزيرة فيلديس، في جزر شتلاند الجنوبية حوالي عشرة منازل أو أكثر بقليل وفيها مصرف ومتجر وناد رياضي ومدرسة صغيرة للأطفال. ومعظم سكان القرية هم من عائلات العسكريين العاملين في القاعدة الجوية.
