Arab weather experts said that the region’s sky will witness a distinctive astronomical phenomenon tonight, which is the full moon of the month of Sha’ban, as the moon reaches the full phase and appears with its face opposite the earth, fully illuminated at 100%, thus announcing the middle of the lunar month.
Arab Weather explained that the full moon phase occurs astronomically when the angle between the sun and the moon becomes approximately 180 degrees, that is, when the moon is on the opposite side from the sun in relation to the earth, which leads to its disk being fully illuminated.

They added that this astronomical arrangement makes the moon rise with the setting sun, and continue its movement across the sky throughout the night, before setting with the sunrise the following day.
Arab Weather indicated that astronomical calculations show that the moment of the full moon will be at 1:09 after midnight.
Experts explained that the astronomical full moon does not always have to coincide with the fifteenth night of the lunar month, as it may occur on the fourteenth or fifteenth night, and in rare cases it may be delayed to coincide with the sixteenth night, depending on the exact timing of the moment of its fullness.
